“Jeeps are NOT a “Hobby”. Jeeping is NOT a “Hobby”. It is called “JeepLife” for a reason. If you let it, the “JeepLife” and the freedom, fun, camaraderie, and fellowship it can bring you, will change your outlook on life, love and your happiness. Never being far from someone…” -Kurt Eades, It’s A Jeep World
Here is where we go to get away. We love to take and share pictures, especially the sunsets and sunrises. We always keep a couple of extra chairs in the Jeep, and can expect one or more Jeepers from the local Jeep clubs to stop by. There are so many things we can do- simply relaxing is at the top of the list.
I’m not making a list of ALL the things there are to do on the beach, but I’ll mention our favorite things: walking, swimming, shark tooth and sea shell hunting. We also like to cook, on the beach or at the parks. Amelia Island also has several parks, boat ramps, fishing piers, and, of course, Fort Clinch. There’s also the Island Hardware Store, the antique shops and the restaurants. We have our favorites.
There are so many places to see and so many things to do on this little island, and it’s where our “JeepLife” begins.
