Guard Rail
We had plans to meet up with our friends from Nebraska, but they didn’t make it. As luck would have it, we ran into a couple of SMORR veterans, and followed them through Guard Rail. This trail has a lot of tight turns and steep inclines. The Pale Rider didn’t have much of a problem, except for a couple of steep climbs. We deflated the tires to 15 PSI, and completed the trail.
Pee Wee’s Crossing
This trail is my all-time favorite, so far! Becky and I found ourselves driving down a creek bed. We climbed up and down waterfalls and rock ledges. The jeep was sliding in more than a few places because the rocks were wet. We had a few close calls, but no damage, so I don’t have any regrets about not taking a few of the bypasses. I am proud to say that we followed the trail to the end and earned both Badges of Honor! Pale Rider will definitely be returning to SMORR!
